Born On 13th Jan 1949 to highly educated Sattur Family of Dharwad (Karnataka) returned from England to Hubli in 1983 after finishing his higher studies.
Sattur Medical Care was started by Dr.Gururaj B. Sattur who returned to India in 1983 after staying in U.K for 7 years where he was trained in medical emergencies and diabetes management. Dr Sattur returned to India with the sole intention of serving in his hometown.
Married to Mrs. Kavitha, Dr. Sattur is blessed with two sons – Dr. Mithun .G. Sattur M.Ch., Neurosurgeon in USA. and Dr. Ameet .G. Sattur MD, DM(Card) Interventional Cardiologist, Hubli.
Charitable Services :
- Established “Asha Heart and Diabetes Foundation” at Hubli through which more than 150 free medical camps have been conducted so far.
- 50% concession to parents and children of Defense Personnel.
- Free insulin supply to the needy Type I Diabetic poor patients.
- Regular Coronary Angiography camps for poor people under Asha Foundation and sponsoring for Heart By-Pass Operation to Jayadeva Hospital, Bangalore.
